I have transformed the IKEA Solvind solar-wind product into an apple shape, intending to hang them like apples on tree branches in the garden, similar to Christmas lights. The original product can be found here: http://www.ikea.com/se/sv/catalog/products/40224890/. No resoldering or electronic reconfiguration was needed; I simply added a new top for the lights.
