Sol Republic V8 Headphone Adapter
thingiverse
I didn't print this yet. So, I had these Sol Republic Tracks Air HD headphones that came with their own "V8 Engines" Bluetooth technology. After two years of using them, my headband broke and the ear cushions started to crack the foam. I didn't want to buy a new one and pay around $20, so I decided to make my own custom solution. I designed a 3D model for the V8 engines on both sides since they are different. I created custom ear cups for each side and remixed some pieces from Kegan Holtzhausen's design. If you're planning to buy new cushions for this model, the size should be 100 x 90 mm. This design allows you to use the ear cups with the original headband from Sol Republic. Since these headphones are Bluetooth-enabled, the original headband has copper wires on one side that connect to the other. I plan to study a way to make it wireless using printed arms.
