As well as a worldbuilding journal for setting adaptation.Alongside the talented Fluffy Folio, we have created this alluring creature to tempt and numb the creatures and players of Sol'Kesh. This was an exciting collaboration to embark on, a symbiotic creature that blended the whimsical and cute styling of the Fluffly Folio with my more bestial and gnarly designs to finish with a creature that used the contrast of those styles to its benefit. www.thefluffyfolio.com Over the rhythmic sound of the tide crashing on the shoreline, an eerie wail is heard softly on the salt-laden wind. As the sun sets, the symbiotic trikautrae creature slowly crawls out of the water, the urchin perching itself on rocky outcrops to open its clam-like lid to reveal the symbiotic sea slug within, the wailing glow ghost slug. Adhering to the inner mouth of the urchin, motes of glowing bacteria flow within the transparent skin of the slug as it waves back and forth in the gloom of the dusk light. Catching the eye of the high flying sea birds they quickly descend to pluck the little dancing lure, as the beak nearly closes in on the slug the urchin’s lid snaps shut with shocking force. Long tendrils rimming the edge paralyze the flailing bird while the urchin slowly creeps back into the waves and the safety of the deep as both creatures consume their meal.
