Spring is finally here and gardening season is just around the corner. The wait was agonizing, but it's time to get your hands dirty again. Check out this incredible Soil Block Press that prints in one solid piece without any need for support. It's a game-changer for gardeners everywhere. Get ready to start your plants indoors weeks before you can put them into the ground with soil blocks. They have numerous advantages, but the main benefit is that they significantly reduce transplant shock, giving you more survivors in your garden. Unlike starter pots or trays, soil blocks don't create root balls, limit roots in the soil like peat or paper pots, and destroy roots like flats. Making soil blocks requires a soil block maker, or blocker. The blocker compresses soil into plugs with a preformed depression for placing seeds. Giving your plants a good start has never been easier. Update 06/15/20: We've added a watering tray specifically designed for the actual soilblocks. You can find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4461161 Update 02/13/20: A new version of Erdtopfpresse.stl has been added, complete with pins included. While still printable without support, your printer will need to be skilled at bridging. Update 02/12/20: It turns out that the depressions for placing seeds require some buttons to plug in properly. An STL file with buttons has been added. You can attach them using wood screws (3.5 x 16 mm), glue, or weld them to the bases.
