This DIY programming socket allows you to program SOIC16 300mil wide ICs without soldering or expensive sockets. Simply insert 0.75mm diameter wires with 8mm stripped ends into the side holes, ensuring the insulation jams in the hole. The first prototype serves as a proof-of-concept for an eventual universal programming kit in combination with a PCB and holder set. Secure the cover with M3 screws, which can be improved with a manual clip featuring a spring. Print at 40mm/s using 0.15mm layers on an Ultimaker for optimal precision.
