Softener Cap Holder

I designed a simple holder for my 5L Downy ultra jug that keeps the cup securely in place beneath the spigot, eliminating drips on the floor altogether. The notches along the spigot side perfectly lock onto the Downy jug's shape. This design might not fit other brands as-is, but it can likely be adjusted slightly to accommodate different models. I've included a step file that allows you to import it into your preferred CAD software for easy modification. I've been using this holder for years and while it has started to sag a bit over time, it remains fully functional. To give it more strength, you could easily remix the design with thicker bodies.
