This is Rotorx Atom v3 (4mm) armor boot with an integrated soft mount, requiring a soft material like TPU when printing. To remove supports, use wire nippers or a hobby knife. Two versions were used; the v3.3 version included extra dampening rings, secured by m2x8mm screws which appeared to work well. The original armor was designed by spencergs and updated with supports by myself, then extended for 4mm frame by btimby. The softmount was provided by dayve. The objects in freecad were merged and adjusted. Changes included: 1. Fixing the orientation. 2. Extending the z-axis on the boot to fit a 3.4mm frame according to cad, but this model was removed due to stretching issues. 3. Further extending the z-axis on the boot to approximately 4.1mm and adjusting the mount to better align holes. 4. Adding additional rings for extra dampening and to prevent shorting with 8mm screws.
