Create new plastic lures by melting old ones and pouring them into these molds, utilizing a high layer count to prevent deformation from hot plastic. Begin with the tail, filling "Tail mold - 1" and topping it off with "Tail mold - 2". As some plastic seeps out, this can be trimmed later. Insert the cured tail into the slot of the body mold, ensuring only 1/4" of the tail is inside the body. Pour hot plastic onto this part of the tail to fill the body mold and facilitate adherence between the two parts. There are two distinct body styles available. Use Spam or veggie oil to aid in releasing cured plastic, allowing it to cure for 10-15 minutes. Opt for a 4 or 5 keel weighted hook rigged with Texas style lures. Retrieve the lure at a slow pace just below the surface to create movement and wobble in the body. Gradually increase retrieval speed on the surface, causing the tail to flutter and generate a wake. STP files are included for modifying molds; users are encouraged to share their creations.
