The dimensions of my stool's O-ring fit perfectly, but may differ for yours. The softness is achieved through a rubber O-ring partially embedded within the base. It took multiple attempts to determine the ideal depth of the groove for the O-ring; the provided sizes were inaccurate. Printing ABS material ensured proper adhesion of the O-ring in the circular slot, and hot gluing it to the legs completed the assembly. Despite bed temperature issues leading to base-curl and slight splitting 1/3 up, no major repairs were needed for a satisfactory result.
