Sofle v2 5 degree high profile tenting case
thingiverse
This is a 5 degree high profile tenting case for the Sofle v2. This bases on the design I'm making for aluminum cnc milling case, some minor changes have been made so that it's also suitable for 3d printing. To assembling the PCBs and plates to this case, you'll need: - Flush cutter - 8mm standoffs x 10 - 15mm M2 screws x 4 - 8mm M2 screws x 6 - 3mm M2 screws x 10 - Ergodox tenting kits (Optional) First off, using the flush cutter to cut the standoffs in the model, they are brittle so you can't actually use them, just cut them. Use screws to install the prepared 8mm standoffs. Using longer screws for the thicker part of the case and shorter screws for the thinner part. Use 3mm screws to install the plates to the standoff just like you do with acrylic or FR4 plates. There are holes on the side so that you can use with Ergodox compatible tenting legs, I haven't tested it yet with the real ergodox legs, but the 3d printed version can work well (any legs use M3 screws will do fine, I think). The aluminum premium version of this will be sold on: https://ergomech.store
