Sofia dropped by the Big Bang Fair and got scanned in 3D with our scanning rig, a system made up of 96 DSLR cameras that capture an impressive total of 1.8 Giga pixels of data for each scan. We worked together with friends at CapturingReality.com to process the data - their software analyzes each image, identifying unique points on each and plotting those points in 3D space if they appear on more than one image.
