In late 2018, Arte channel unveiled an incredible discovery: "In Southern Ethiopia, a joint European and Ethiopian archaeological team is uncovering previously unknown Megalithic sites, each spanning ten times the area of Stonehenge or Carnac (Brittany). Amidst the rugged contours of the Rift Valley, thousands of colossal monoliths bearing unmistakable phallic shapes remain intact. Dating back to the 10th to 13th centuries AD, these imposing statues have sparked intense curiosity among archaeologists and anthropologists.
