I printed Chouby's sodastream funnel in AmazonBasics yellow PETG, but the hole turned out completely closed up. That led to some chaotic moments as I tried to drill the hole out carefully, yet managed to get the bit stuck in the print. In desperation, I used a heat gun to extract the drill bit, ultimately destroying the print in the process. Given this outcome, I decided to remix the design using Tinkercad to create a 2.5mm hole instead of Chouby's original 1mm hole. Additionally, I corrected what appeared to be a geometry issue on one triangle in the funnel surface. The remixed version turned out flawlessly and functions perfectly. The reason for creating this funnel is that when pouring syrup into your bottle, you often get a foamy explosion all over the kitchen. This phenomenon happens with grape soda mix every single time. I'm not sure what it is about grape soda mix that makes it so problematic compared to other flavors, but it's definitely the worst offender. The funnel sits on top of your bottle and meters in the syrup at a slow enough rate to prevent any issues from arising. I found that a 2.5mm diameter was sufficient to prevent problems while still allowing for a reasonable drainage rate.
