Instruction as on thingiverse for the model by Kamuno:This is an adapter for using conventional screw-in co2 tanks in any sodastream carbonator with the new quick connect system. I printed it with petg and it works but if you have something better like nylon or polycarbonate then it's better to go with thatPrint adapter upside down with 100% infill, 6 walls and support enabledPrint pin also upside down but support isn't necessaryPost printing instructions:Carefully break away the support structure(i recommend squeezing it with pliers and then turning it)Sand down the upper part of the adapter until it's roughly at 20mm(can be a bit bigger)Drill out the hole in the center of the adapter to 6mmPut sealing rings on the pin, apply grease and put the pin in the adapter(make sure it slides without too much force)Put a sealing ring at the end of the thread for the srew-in co2 canisterBreak out the little peace in the bottom of your sodastream to be able to fit in the screw-in canisterCarbonate!Sealing rings I used:2x 1.5mm thick, 3mm inner and 6mm outer diameterLink to similar ones: (https://bit.ly/3MBNToa)1x 3.15mm height, 10mm inner and 21mm outer diameterLink to similar ones: (https://bit.ly/3xz9pFI)Instruction of hashoom's model:it is a better versionThis is an adapter for using conventional screw-in co2 tanks in any sodastream carbonator with the new quick connect system.
