Sodastream PET adapter

Sodastream PET adapter

I adapt PET-bottles, like Coca Cola to Sodastream, used in Europe and Switzerland - I'm unsure about differences elsewhere. To secure the PET bottle, I utilize a gasket; without proper sealing, moisture will infiltrate - a simple fact. This adaptation presents an issue: the configuration can be somewhat lengthy, necessitating a relatively full bottle for effective functioning. On a positive note, the adapter remains stationary within Sodastream's confines and can be released as needed without encountering issues. A significant point to note: due to acquired experience with this setup, I have found it feasible not to submerge the tube in water entirely. During carbonation processes, incoming water adequately cleans the bubble tubes; thus, an inadequately filled bottle poses little concern, making for a cleaner operation altogether.
