### Why Not Lose That Drip Tray Again! My colleague was in a bit of a pickle when he lost his Sodastream Jet machine's drip tray. I jumped into action and managed to get my hands on a spare one. But what really impressed me was that I was able to model a replacement myself, test it out, and make sure it fits like a glove. ### What Makes This Drip Tray So Great? * It's been thoroughly tested to ensure a perfect fit for the Sodastream Jet machine - and who knows, maybe even other models too! * I've put it through its paces with PLA and PETG filaments, but ABS should work just as well. * Don't worry if you're new to 3D printing; this design is easy to print, even for beginners. ### How to Print Your New Drip Tray Printing your drip tray upside-down might be the easiest way to do it, but be aware that it could leave some scarring from the supports inside. To avoid this, use supports with a ~60 degree overhang threshold. FDM prints can be a bit porous, so I recommend adding some extra perimeters and top/bottom layers to make it waterproof. ### Get Involved! The original design file for this drip tray is available in Fusion 360, so feel free to take it apart (or improve it!) and learn from the process.
