I'm looking into designing a soda can holder for the armrest of a chair. The current prototype is capable of holding a soda can without it falling off the armrest, but I'd like to improve its stability even further. To enhance grip and prevent slipping, I'm considering applying a layer of spray-on rubber to the part that comes into contact with the armrest.
