Transform ordinary soda cans into eye-catching coin banks! Get creative with this simple plastic cover from aluminoids.com, which turns your everyday soda can into an intriguing art display that encourages donations and collects spare change. The tool fits most U.S. coins and folded bills perfectly. To transform a can, first drain it by popping a hidden hole while leaving the top intact. Then, use wood screws, 1/8th inch pop-rivets, or superglue to secure the cover just below the outer rim of the can. Next, poke many holes around the inner edges of the slot using a pushpin and then fully remove the coin-hole with a knife tip. The slot is designed to fit 355 ML cans commonly used in the U.S. and Canada.
