Soda can carrier + rinser
prusaprinters
I created this to have a place to put empty cans so I could carry them to the crusher for recycling. To keep the crusher from getting all gross and sticky, I created the rinser which washes 6 cans at once. The carrier itself is very simple and can be printed from PLA, PETG, or any other material. The rinser is more complicated and is split into multiple parts:The base model, which contains interior water channels to each can.A tube volume, which surrounds the interior water channels. This should be added as a modifier to the base, with perimeters set to 8 to make it solid.A top piece, which has print-in-place levers on the sides to easily separate it from the baseNozzle tubes, which screw into the base and carry water into the cans. I made these separate since I wanted to be able to experiment with different designs without reprinting the entire thing.Inlet tube fitting, which screws into the inlet and allows connection of a 4.7mm (3/16in) silicone tube to the inletSink sprayer adapter which fits the specific model of sprayer at my house. This has two pieces, an outer piece which is printed in PLA and an inner piece printed in TPU.OpenSCAD source can be found here: https://gitlab.com/ktpanda/canholder/-/tree/masterDemonstration video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEG4JYFrBw0 NOTE: The video shows a slightly older iteration but the operation is essentially the same.
