Soda Bottle Stand

After rinsing soda bottles, they should be placed upside down for better drying. This allows water to drain efficiently from the containers. Unfortunately, their narrow openings often cause them to topple over, producing a loud and disturbing noise. To address this issue, I designed a stand that can securely hold soda bottles with bayonet lids in place. The stand's wider base provides stability, enabling the bottles to remain upright for an extended period. However, it became apparent that not all bayonet lids are created equal; some have longer wings than others, rendering them incompatible with my initial design. Consequently, I developed a revised version (V2) of the stand to accommodate these wider-lidded bottles. Printer Settings: The stand was printed using a FlashForge Dreamer printer at a resolution of 0.25 mm with no raft and no support material. The infill density is set at 20%. It is essential to use food-safe materials, such as PETG, for the stand's construction. Custom Section: Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that numerous models from this platform are being sold on eBay without respecting the Creative Commons license under which they were shared. Despite attempts to address this issue with eBay and Thingiverse, I have been left with no choice but to remove all of my models from this site due to the lack of support for enforcing these licenses. If you are interested in obtaining the files for my designs, please feel free to contact me directly. I would be happy to share them with active members who have contributed their own models to this community.
