Soda Bottle Greenhouse
thingiverse
I drink a good amount of bottled soda and water, and wanted to put some of those bottles back to use instead of sending them off to the recycling plant or worse, the landfill. After a few quick searches, I didn't really find what I was looking for (I didn't try too hard, though) and decided to create my own solution. This works with standard 16.9oz / 500ml plastic beverage bottles here in the US. You just have to cut off the top where it starts tapering in. At 100% size the bottles fit perfectly, stiffer soda bottles are easier than flimsy water bottles, but they both still work well together. I imagine if this was sized up 101-102% it might be a little easier, but it fits my purposes just fine as is. Just fill with a little dirt, sow your seed and insert the bottle into the ground.
