We can spot the features of the Greek philosopher Socrates (469-399 BC), as seen in other portraits, sculptures or paintings. This portrait could be a reproduction of an original sculpture by Lysippos around 318-317 BC depicting the philosopher seated. We know that the original bronze was lost, but it had been commissioned to Lysippos by Athens after they regretted condemning Socrates to death. This object is part of "Scan The World".
