SoClean2 CPAP Adapter

SoClean2 CPAP Adapter

thingiverse

This is the adapter that attaches the black rubber air tubing from a SoClean2 CPAP cleaner device to a CPAP machine. The SoClean 2 unit would have shipped with one and they're pretty durable, but mine broke while trying to remove it from my CPAP for service. The little pipe on the inside of the adapter snapped off, as it is quite thin. A replacement part is $12.00 on Amazon, needed some Fusion 360 practice anyway, and I just upgraded my CR-10 Max with a Bondtech DDX extruder from Partsbuilt3D and Z Sync adapter from Tiny Machines. You will need to orient this piece so it is standing straight up and upside down so that the small pipe is facing up. This way, you will only need a single support when printing. I used layer height of 0.2 and infill at 25%. When attaching the two pieces of rubber tubing from the SoClean2, be sure to moisten the end of the tubing just a tad and GENTLY work the tubing on to the fragile pipes. It took five iterations because I could get a design where the little pipe wouldn't break, but then I used PLA and I imagine PETG or ABS might have been better choices. As this connects to a medical device, I will not be held liable for any issues you have with it or damages incurred by the use of the printed object.
