Socket Organizer for Storehouse 15 Bin Storage Case

Over the years I've collected random socket wrench sockets from various places and had no toolbox for them anymore. I had multiples of some sizes, but I had at least one of every common size. I got tired of always digging through the box I stored them in to find the right size so I designed a magnetic organizer for that box. The box I used was from the "Storehouse" brand. Apparently they still sell them. Here's the link to the product on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Small-Portable-Parts-Storage-Special/dp/B00TYELUSE This box has held up amazingly. I've had it for 20 years at least. I removed all the little yellow organizers it comes with. There are spaces underneath the organizer for holding 12x5x3mm neodymium magnet bars. I got a pack of them from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09Y5VNPPG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I used hot glue to secure the magnets in place. They don't do an amazing job of holding the sockets, but they give an extra little bit of "gravity" when you put them in. Really though the lid to the box holds them in the most, so the magnets aren't really necessary. There's also space underneath the sockets, where I stored all the "extras"--some duplicates of the sizes above, for if and when I ever lose one of the ones up top. I hope that never happens of course, but this was a good way to not have all those duplicate sizes hanging around all the time while also having a useful purpose for them. Your socket sizes may be different from mine. Or you may want to adapt this to a different box. Here's the OnShape design so you can adjust it if you like: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/072163f2d2a31d169fb9ad1d/w/cd1d7497403997e0c745eeb4/e/bbfb518837b3d6db6a158f3b Here are the socket sizes mine holds: Left: 13/16", 3/4", 11/16", 5/8", 9/16", 1/2", 7/16", 3/8", 11/32", 5/16", 9/32", 1/4", 7/32", 3/16" Middle: 7/8", 13/16", 3/4", 11/16", 5/8", 9/16", 1/2", 7/16", 3/8", 11/32", 5/16" Right: 18mm, 17mm, 15mm, 14mm, 13mm, 12mm, 11mm, 10mm, 9mm, 8mm, 7mm, 6mm, 4mm, 5mm, 5/32" (Yes, I know there are some missing metric ones in there. But as an American I use metric so rarely that I've never had a need to backfill the missing ones) There's also space for a wrench, some extension rods, and some size adapters. Enjoy!
