Socket Holders Customized (1/4)

This is part 1 of a 2-part system for storing 1/4 inch sockets for your socket wrenches. It prints a 4x2 array of holders customized to each of your sockets, which slide into a base (check out: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1215154). It's probably overkill for most people, but the sockets push onto a post and fit snugly in a custom-sized hole that I measured with a caliper --- you can adjust the diameters to suit your socket set. A customizer lets you choose up to 8 of these holders to print at a time, each one bearing the size written on all four sides. I print one color for metric sockets and another for US ones. Here are my printer settings: * Printer: FlashForge * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 15% * Notes: Easy prints If you need to handle larger-sized sockets, it's not a big deal, but you'll need to make changes to both projects - the one that prints the holder and the individual sockets. To do this, change the BASE variable in both codes. Currently, it's set at 21mm. This represents the length of the sides of the main cube of the individual socket holders. Because text takes up a little room on each side and needs about an extra millimeter behind for support, you'll want to adjust BASE accordingly. Just caliper-measure the next size or two above your largest sockets, then uncomment the relevant sections in the code. Simple as that!
