Socket Hand Crank (For router lift, or anything else)

Socket Hand Crank (For router lift, or anything else)

thingiverse

My Router Lift requires a 5/8' nut to raise and lower the router bit. Using a ratchet, the ratchet handle would hit the bit as it got higher. So I decided to make a crank that way short enough to not hit most bits, and raise and lower faster than with the ratchet. This is designed to fit any 3/8' sockets. The fit is TIGHT, so you may want to file it down a bit if your use would require changing out bits often (Mine doesn't) The knob was inspired by JayMake's VW Window Crank Handle, though I had to rebuild it entirely for my purposes. You will need a M5x20 bolt and an M5 nut to attach the knob to the crank.
