Changing the flush valve in our toilet required some effort. The old Fluidmaster 400 (1/2") had been there for ages, and its longevity was now causing problems - the water had hardened the nut, making it extremely difficult to remove. To make matters worse, the valve was recessed, leaving me no choice but to create a custom solution to access it. I designed this socket to fit perfectly onto my 1/4" socket wrench, providing just the right amount of leverage to finally loosen the stuck nut and get the job done.
