Socket Cover
thingiverse
This is a swing cover for an outdoor outlet/socket (US). I made this to fit various models of Leviton outdoor wet location socket covers. These swing covers tend to break at the hinge pin hole. We have many of them around our 20 year old house and almost every single one has a broken cover. Either they are hanging crooked because half of the cover has snapped, or the cover(s) are just completely missing. It’s not a good look. I designed these to be direct replacements that are strong and easy to print. They don’t have all of the same contours and rounding styles as the originals—just flat and square. But they work great and that will look better than broken plates. For the price of filament, I am saving the cost of replacing a bunch of these.
