Socket based bronze arrow point

Socket based bronze arrow point

thingiverse

A model of a small trilobate, socket based arrow point. The dimensions of this model are taken from a specimen from Egypt, but it is not a strict replica and is slightly generalized. This style of point was very popular over a wide geographic range. The blades are not beveled, which is easy to do with sandpaper if you desire. You may be surprised how small this point actually is.When printed, sanded, stained/painted or otherwise post-processed this will be useful in a teaching collection.I am presenting these 3d models to everyone, free of charge. None of them were directly scanned from original (“real”) artifacts, unless otherwise noted. I hereby give you free access to use these scans for whatever purposes you desire. If you do use these models or data derived from them in a publication, please thank me or provide a citation to this page; while the models are simple they represent a fair amount effort in research, carving, scanning, etc.
