Sock dryer - cutomizable
thingiverse
Included STL: Those are for a diameter of 16 and 19mm tubes. There is a gap of 0.1mm to prevent fusing during print. You can either tweak your printer or the customizer to prevent this. Tips Print: - The STL files are my settings with PLA. - Avoid fusing of the individual holders. Once fused, you need to break the fused location in order to use it and this will leave burrs, that can damage you clothes. - If it ever fuses: break those locations and pull a durable piece of cloth (jeans is ideal) through the holder to sand off those burrs. Don't overdo it, of the gap get's too big. ;-) - I'm using a 0.8mm nozzle for speed. Does not need to look that fancy. Tips customizer: - Directly use OpenSCAD (it is free; Open the scad file, then go to Windows -> Customizer). - The default settings should generate the included STL file with 16mm diameter. - You need to find a mix of flexibility (to get the socks in) and stiffness (to keep the socks in). This is also affected by material. I hope the options for the customizer are explained well enough. Otherwise send a PM, so I can improve it.
