Sock Aid for Travel

Sock Aid for Travel

thingiverse

For some folks with mild mobility issues, this is a small sock aid, designed to be easily carried in travel luggage, a gym bag, or even a pocket. For cases where all you need is a little assistance getting your socks over your toes, and a full-size sock aid is just not practical (like a visit to an unfamiliar hotel, gym, pool or spa) this may be a simple solution. You can fold a couple of layers of the sock around the end of this sock aid, and use your opposite large toe on the tab to clamp the sock against the floor. Slip your foot into the sock, just enough to get it around your toes, or even most of the way to the heel of the sock. Not for everyone in all situations, but perhaps just enough to help you in unfamiliar locations. Works well enough for me! Prints well enough without supports on my Lulzbot Mini 2, but may need supports on some printers. Source file (.FCStd) included in case you want to change anything using FreeCAD.
