The French-made Socata ST-10 Diplomate is a renowned four-seat civil light aircraft, born out of the highly-regarded GY-80 Horizon series. Originally called Super Horizon 200 and then Provence, this plane's eventual christening as ST-10 Diplomate marked its entry into the spotlight. After months of intense development, the first prototype successfully took to the skies on November 7, 1967. With production kicking off in 1970, Socata rolled out a total of 55 meticulously crafted units over the next four years. The production phase concluded in 1974, securing a permanent place for this incredible aircraft in aviation history books forever.
