Soap Tray

Soap Tray

thingiverse

I was in desperate need of a couple of compact soap trays to hold the soaps that came with toys. My kids received these as a gift and I figured it would be a great project to tackle. Using Tinkercad, I designed this simple yet functional tray. Initially, I created one single model but I soon realized that it wouldn't print perfectly without supports using bridging technology. To overcome this limitation, I decided to split the design into two separate models. This way, I could get the tray model to bridge deeper into the holes model, resulting in a much cleaner and more precise print. Now that I have these two distinct models, I'm excited about the possibility of printing them with two different colors. The possibilities are endless and it will definitely add an extra layer of fun to this project. You can check out more of my designs on Cults at https://cults3d.com/en/users/abbymath
