Soap trays often feature drains and contoured bases designed to keep the underside of soap blocks dry, as damp soap is essentially soft soap that quickly washes away, leaving behind a residue of soapy "gunk" at the bottom. The 'Soap Saver' is engineered for use within existing soap trays, not in place of them. It suspends the bar of soap upright or on its side and angles it backward to minimize surface area exposure, particularly the underside that tends to stay damp and create messes which then wash away quickly during subsequent uses.
