Soap Mold
thingiverse
I've started creating my own solid soap and wanted a standard soap shape, so I made one myself! I haven't tested it yet, but I think the result looks pretty good. I've uploaded the soap STL model for you to create your own mold design; I opted for a "press" shape with some rubber band holders. The hole in the press ensures the soap spreads evenly and prevents bubbles from forming. In Blender, the unity is measured in meters, but when exported, it's converted to millimeters in my slicer, so the soap is 90mm long in Blender. I've also included the Blender file with all the objects I used to create this. The object names are French, though. As I mentioned earlier, I haven't tested it yet and my printer has some limitations; the P hole and A hole might be weak. Flattening it could be a good idea. I'm still a beginner in 3D printing/3D design and don't have much time available. There's no issue if you use my file, but I won't be updating this one. Please leave comments for future users who download my files.
