**Important Safety Tip**: Always have a sturdy bag or large plastic tray ready to contain your molds in case they break, fail, or leak. A common soapmaking mistake is using underpowered lye, which leads to slow or incomplete soapification and can create a massive and potentially hazardous mess. This is a spacious box-style soap mold designed for pouring a significant amount of soap, allowing it to set, then cutting the large block into smaller bars. The SketchUp file is included in the Thing Files section. To assemble these molds with minimal leakage, use cellophane to wrap each part and secure them with M6 x 100mm bolts (at least four bolts per box). It's also a good idea to keep the box on a plastic bag or other easily washable or disposable cover for added protection. We opted for 3D printing due to limited access to wood in our urban environment. This process allowed us to create the molds exactly as we envisioned them. For beginners, SoapQueen is an excellent resource. Their YouTube channel features informative videos and an ingredient calculator that can help you with your soap recipes: https://www.soapqueen.com/.
