Soap Dish I encountered an issue with the soap in the shower slipping onto the floor due to the soap dish being installed incorrectly. To rectify this problem, I created a simple tray that would prevent soap from falling to the ground. My wife noticed the tray and requested one for the bathroom sink. Since my initial tray was basic and might not be visually appealing, I invested an entire day into designing a more elaborate model. The tray shown here was printed in low-resolution mode to test its functionality. Although my printer experienced minor issues during printing, it still works as intended. As a bonus, anyone with a similar 3D printer can now produce their own set of soap dishes. The design is centered around suspending the dish over the edge of the sink to prevent it from reaching the drain. This requires using supports during the printing process since the overhang is lower than the dish itself. However, you can modify the design by shortening the back leg and print without supports if needed. For those interested in replicating this project, I have included the original designer file for Autodesk 123. Print Settings Printer: M3D Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 300 Infill: 60% or higher Notes: Density Level The tray shown was printed at a very low density, resulting in a light and fragile product. I recommend using a higher infill setting to create a more solid soap dish.
