This sleek soap dish draws inspiration from cutting-edge bathtub designs that have caught my attention lately. Its ingenious design boasts a gentle incline leading up to the recess where soap resides, ingeniously channeled so that water seeps through the central aperture into the base below. However, during printing, this carefully crafted slope transforms unexpectedly into a picturesque stepped layout that adds a whimsical charm. Instructions: Conceived and brought to life in Blender, this captivating soap dish was expertly printed on an RigidBot using premium PLA material at an incredibly fine layer height of 0.2mm, along with a sturdy 0.8mm shell, 10% filling density, 195C print head temperature, and a soothing 55C bed temperature - all without relying on supports whatsoever. The slicing process was carefully managed by Cura, ultimately yielding a 3.5 hour print session at the default scale. Notably, this creation has been rigorously tested only on one type of PLA extrusion printer; thus, results may vary across different printing setups. For fellow makers interested in modifying or optimizing the design, I've generously included the Blender file, inviting all to experiment and unlock their full creative potential! Remember to gauge your soap size accurately before attempting a print, as this model is carefully crafted for seamless snugness around standard Dove soap bars - its adaptability will accommodate a wide range of soap sizes.
