Soap dish drip tray

I was fed up with soap dishes that offered zero drainage, where the bar of soap sat stewing in its own juices and got all soggy and gross.\r\n\r\nI created this tray to pair with a cheap clear plastic bar soap holder I picked up at Fred Meyer (I think it cost less than $3). My tray would likely function as a standalone soap dish, but the holder keeps the bar elevated off the surface so it can drain better. The holder came with some pre-drilled holes but I added some extras to ensure the water could drain freely.\r\n\r\nThe tray sits on the countertop with its front left corner hanging over the edge so the water can flow into the sink. It's designed for a one-piece sink and countertop, without any raised lip around the edge of the sink.
