This is a blueprint for crafting a Ground Plane Antenna for VHF or UHF radios. On the illustration, the radials are not attached yet. Simply place this component onto the back of a SO-239 chassis mount to enhance its appearance and provide a mounting option. The small aperture on the side allows you to fill the interior with a resin or similar material to make it waterproof.
