Snug Fitting Filter Mask

This adjustable filter mask consists of an adaptable frame made up of flexible fingers that press filter material tightly against your face to prevent leaks from occurring. The large filter area both makes breathing easier by reducing resistance and minimizes back pressure to minimize any leakage airflow. The filter material is securely held in place when the flexible fingers are pressed firmly against your face. Additionally, a set of barbs surrounds the perimeter that can be used to pierce the filter material and keep it securely in place while putting on or taking off the mask. This mask should fit a wide variety of face shapes, but its adaptability can be further enhanced by scaling the X-axis and/or Y-axis by up to 10% for a custom fit. It requires a piece of filter material (an old t-shirt, microfiber cloth, or cotton dishcloth) measuring 6.75 inches in diameter, along with a piece of 1/2-inch wide elastic approximately 40 inches long.
