Snowy Owl knob pull (cabinet handle)

I designed these customizable knob pulls specifically for my wife because she had grown tired of the mundane handles that were installed on our new cabinets when we moved in. The unique design allows for easy installation with a standard machine screw (a 4mm hole diameter can be found in CAD files, but results in approximately 4mm when printed on a LulzBot Taz 4). By printing the owl and pillar separately, the need to use cumbersome supports is eliminated. I designed each piece carefully to optimize the fit: the pillar stands 5mm tall, and the hollowed out back of the owl provides a recessed space that reaches a depth of 4.5mm, allowing for full screw penetration of 9.5mm in total. I created these designs in Google SketchUp. For users with a LulzBot Taz 4 3D printer, ready-to-print gcode is provided - including templates for a complete set of four knobs that are easy to attach.
