Snowstock Delta Bot
thingiverse
I aimed to create a wolfstock delta-bot using Makerslide linear slides, with the belt running internally for a sleeker appearance. This project is still underway; I'm currently refining the design and constructing the printer. Follow my progress on my blog: http://andy-projects.blogspot.com/2013/12/delta-bot-build.html Updates include adding a belt clip, belt tensioner to idler bracket, and tensioner arm (1.1.2014). Other updates involve adding carriage mount for rod ends, platform, rod sleeve (1.15.2014), updating the platform and rod carriage mounts (1.18.2014), and improving fit with traxxas rod ends (1.19.2014). Further updates include adding a shroud for 40mm fan, bowden tube mount for Budaschnozzle, 5mm spacer for Budaschnozzle, platform for magnetic bearings, and carriage mount for magnetic bearings (3.19.2014). In the following updates, M5 threaded rod end caps were added for magnetic bearings (4.03.2014), upper and lower braces were incorporated to strengthen the structure (9.8.2014), and new platform and slider versions provided more clearance for tie rod ends (5.15.2016). The latest update, on 12.26.2016, features a RAMPS mount for attaching RAMPs and Arduino to the bottom of the platform, improved fan shroud, and a mount for a 12mm diameter inductive or capacity proximity sensor for auto-bed leveling (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1997781).
