Snowman/Snowperson Face #2
prusaprinters
What is this? E-snow-ji? E-snow-tion? Maybe not… Well, it doesn’t have to have a catchy name to revolutionize the snow person industry 😀I designed these to look like someone scribbled a face on a snow-person using a marker. I drew the SVG by hand, imported it to OpenSCAD, and added the fixation posts to the back at a slight angle so they help the pieces stay in place when the snow starts to melt. I went through a few iterations for the post design, but the uploaded version works pretty well. This design lends to a wide range of expression, depending on how it is arranged. Arrangements where the fixation posts are angled up will probably be more prone to falling with melting, but I have had good results with well packed snow. When I sliced, I scaled up the whole print by 160% (all axes) and that gave a pretty good size. It should scale up or down depending on your creation size.I printed in PETG to be more UV/sun resistant over time. 0.2mm with FAST or QUALITY settings both seemed to work well.
