Snowman Figurine
thingiverse
This is a re-CAD of the MakerBot snowman (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:33983). I created two different arm positions, four distinct hats, and a hollow body in case anyone wants to print it out of a semitransparent material and put a light inside. Models for optional eyes, mouth, and buttons are also included, although the snowman looks better with them installed. The button model can be glued on top of the ball cap hat as an accent color or extra feature. I decided to post this now before Christmas but may make some additions in the future. One thing I wanted to do was create some accessories for the snowman to hold, such as funny signs, more Christmas-themed items, a Nerf gun, and other fun ideas. I went through and added fillets to all edges to make it look cleaner and help with ringing on corners while printing. Fillets on the bottom of parts also aid in removal from the print bed. This model was created at 300% scale from the MakerBot version. The arms, hats, body, nose, and buttons should be backwards compatible as long as you find the right scale factor.
