Snowman and Christmas Tree ornaments

Create snowman and Christmas tree ornaments using OmNomNom Creator (Thing 24639) at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:24639. These ornaments, including snowmen with dates from 2012 to 2014, were printed in ABS with a 0.3 mm layer height and no extra shells using the "Pause @ Zpos" feature of Sailfish firmware (Thing 32084) for multi-color printing. To add texture to snowmen hats, black filament was slightly drawn through a wire stripper. For the tree, some texture was preferred as it adds realism. The bitmap images snowman.png and tree.gif were used with OpenSCAD to produce STL files, which were later edited to add holes for string and remove rectangular flat base by setting baseHeight = 0. Interested users can import these images into Inkscape and convert them to vector artwork using the bitmap trace function. The image files are available for download near the upper left of the Thing page.
