Snowflake Tree Topper

I carefully recreated this unique snowflake design from a real-life photograph, ensuring it could perfectly accommodate six 5mm LEDs. To give my project an enchanting glow, I opted for flickering yellow lights taken from old battery-powered candles. Notably, the snowflake template comes in two sizes, catering to both smaller and larger printers alike. Watch this YouTube tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKpH26xlNyU) to see my design process in action. Here are the step-by-step instructions: Begin by using natural PLA filament and applying a concentric top and bottom fill for a seamless appearance. I recommend printing two snowflakes at once for added efficiency. To create the circuit, carefully superglue LED lights into one of them, making sure to match all leads to the same polarity. Next, gently bend each lead so they touch, then solder the LEDs in parallel. Now, connect battery wires to their respective sides of the circuit and reinforce them with a dab of superglue for added durability. After that, place the second snowflake on top, holding the LEDs securely in place with a bit more superglue. To bring my creation to life, simply add batteries and display it proudly on your Christmas tree!
