Snowflake Transformer
thingiverse
I love winter, especially when it snows, but it's rare in Turkmenistan where I live. Whenever we do get snow, I grab my camera and take pictures of the beautiful scenery, often creating intricate sculptures out of the fresh powder. Snow also brings a festive atmosphere, making me feel like Christmas is just around the corner. To capture this magic, I designed a snowflake - the main structure of snowflakes - which became the centerpiece of my winter wonderland project. First, I sketched out my idea on paper and later brought it to life using Tinkercad's 3D modeling program. The result is a snowflake that looks like a toy, allowing you to rotate it and watch as it changes color before your eyes. To add an extra layer of enchantment, you can print the snowflake in special filament that glows in the dark (Filament-Glow in the Dark), creating a mesmerizing effect that will leave everyone in awe.
