I found the original script (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2702278) to make personalized ornaments for friends and family. I ended up heavily modifying it to suit my needs, and also to see what could be done with it. changes added decimal points for finer adjustments improved render time separated number of branches so the number of additional branches could be changed independent of the main branches added ability to rotate the additional branches added the ability to add an adjustable eyelet added ability to add smoothing You'll want to use a cursive/handwriting/handwritten style font, so the letters are all joined. Even with that, you'll still find some that have letters that do not join. You'll also probably get better slicing results from bold fonts. To make the text in the main branches legible, you'll need to add 3-4 spaces before the text. To bring the mirrored main text together, you want a negative vertical offset. add a positive vertical offset to move them apart. To bring the mirrored additional text together, you want a positive vertical offset. add a negative vertical offset to move them apart. I used a spreadsheet to keep track up designs I liked. This also allowed me to track which fonts had letters that didn't join or didn't slice well.
