Snowflake growth simulation in OpenSCAD
cults3d
This is an OpenSCAD implementation of the Reiter cellular automaton algorithm designed for simulating snowflake formation through randomized processes. You can easily customize numerous parameters, allowing you to re-run and generate unique snowflakes with a simple change in the random seed value. The simulation also includes three methods for extending the flake into the third dimension: variable thickness based on ice density within the simulation, constant thickness throughout, or superimposing a 3D star-like profile. When printing your snowflake design, be sure to remove it carefully from the bed using a razor to avoid any potential damage.
With this file you will be able to print Snowflake growth simulation in OpenSCAD with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Snowflake growth simulation in OpenSCAD.
